Really heartbroken about how things played out for me today, 2 mins before the start of my heat i tweaked out my bad ankle , i came back to the beach and just said to go for it after all the shit it has given me. Anyway i gave it everything i had and as my mother said it is not whether you win or lose but how you play the game, so i can be proud of myself for the effort but it is still really disappointing to not be able to sail how I know I can. Congratulations to Phil on sailing a good heat and hope he makes it far in the competition.

The competitions have given me great motivation to improve my sailing over the winter months at home in Ireland and come back even stronger for 2013. Thanks to my family Mam Dad , Brother Seán and sponsors who have been great support to me over the year.
