We had a great days competition at Brandon Bay last Saturday, the gusty cool NW winds made it difficult to select the right gear for sailing with the wind changing from 4.2 weather to 5.3 weather in minutes. Missing out on the first two rounds of competition that were held earlier in the whilst I was competing on the PWA meant I wasn’t in the running for the overall wave title. Big congratulations to Rob Jones who once again retained the IWA wave title for another year running! Thanks also to Jamie Knox the Judges and Dave Garvey who all kept the event running smoothly. Looking forward to next years competitions!
