No matter where I am in the world the site of a good forecast always gets me super excited, more often than not though I tend to over think of how good the conditions will actually be!! This leaves you rather disappointed most days as you always set yourself up for a fall. I think it comes from the world we are living in today when if what was good isn’t better the next time then its crap. It makes sense in technological and business advances etc but we often forget we are dealing with mother nature a beast in herself like most women, does what she wants when she wants. It is this combination of raw elements that make windsurfing so special, in a way it brings us back in thinking patterns from the 21st century way to the most basic and primal instinctive way of thinking. For most this constant change from primal to progressive thinking becomes inherently to much as they fail to understand and grasp the core concept of windsurfing the weather. People want more and more in todays world and windsurfing unlike most sports windsurfing does not give you that, as far as you travel and as hard as you try. It is from this why we see that the people involved in windsurfing are of a certain nature and character, with some of the nicest qualities you can see in todays world!!
On a side note had heaps of fun sailing yesterday, cant wait for more.
